This information was also shared that ‘Kantara 2’ will not actually be a sequel, but a prequel. That means it will have a story behind the first film.
Now according to a report in Pinkvilla, the shoot of ‘Kantara 2’ is largely over. Rishabh Shetty and team have finished the outdoor shoot of the film. A source associated with the film said, ‘There is an indoor shoot, which takes about 15-20 days of work. The film will be completed soon. However, post-production work has started. With the introduction of mythology and prequels, ‘Kantara 2’ is much bigger than the first film.
When will ‘Kantara 2’ be released?
Quoting sources in the report, it was told that Rishabh Shetty and his team want to bring ‘Kantara 2’ on the big screen by the summer of 2025. The source said, ‘While most of the shoot has been completed, the team does not want to compromise at all on post production and visual effects. The idea is to deliver a product that is 10 times stronger than ‘Kantara 1’. The promo announcing the film was just a glimpse of this. Concluding the talk, the source said that the film is planned to be released by the summer of 2025 and the promotional material is expected to be revealed from October 2024.
