Amid the pending chief ministership of Maharashtra, Acting Chief Minister Ek Nath Shinde convened a meeting at Varsha Bungalow. Here, an inventory of the preparations for Mahaparinirvana Day is taken. Some Shiv Sena MPs were present at the meeting. Acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has hit the ground running ahead of the formation of the new government in Maharashtra. Nat Shinde, who had gone to the hospital with a throat infection and fever, came out of there and went straight to the Varsha bungalow and called a meeting. He inspected the preparations for Mahaparinirvana day and gave guidelines after talking to officials.
Check preparations
At the meeting organized to check the preparations for Mahaparinirvana Day, Acting CM Ek Nath Shinde took stock of the municipal corporation’s preparations. He said lakhs of followers will come to Mumbai on December 6 to pay homage to Baba Saheb Ambedkar. In this case, there must be no carelessness. Shiv Sena leaders Uday Samant, Rahul Shewale, Deepak Kesarkar and Sanjay Shirsat also participated in the meeting.
