Shikhar Dhawan’s magic will be seen again as he will now play cricket for the neighboring country

Former Indian cricket team opener Shikhar Dhawan has announced his retirement. This year he bid farewell to cricket. However, he can still be seen playing in the T20 league for retired players. Recently, he participated in the Cricket Legends League, LLC 2024, the final of which was held in Srinagar. After this match, Shikhar Dhawan is eager to play in the T20 league again. Interestingly, this time he will be participating in such a league in neighboring India. Now you might think we are talking about Sri Lanka Premier League or Bangladesh Premier League. If you think so, your guess is incorrect.

In fact, Shikhar Dhawan will play in the Nepali league and not Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. Its official announcement has also been released. Nepal Premier League (NPL) team Karnali Yaks has invited former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to participate in the upcoming matches. The 38-year-old Dhawan will become the fourth foreign player for Karnali. Previously, the squad also included West Indies’ Chadwick Walton, Pakistan’s Hussain Talat and Hong Kong’s Babar Hayat.

Colonel Yax releases video

Karnali Yax posted a video on Instagram in which Shikhar Dhawan announced his participation in the Nepal Premier League. Dhawan said that he will play in the Nepal Premier League. He will play for Karnali Yaks and it will be great to meet the people of Nepal. Apart from Shikhar Dhawan, Jimmy Neesham, Martin Guptill, Unmukt Chand and Ben Cutting will also feature in the upcoming Nepal Premier League.
