New information has emerged about Vimal Soni, who is accused of killing a businessman’s wife and digging a grave to bury her body in Kanpur. Police interrogation revealed that fitness trainer Vimal Soni was once “Mr. Kanpur” and “Mr. UP”. He also participated in the “Mr. India” competition. But ultimately failed to win the championship. Vimal has a huge fan following on social media because of his gym. Seeing his height and muscular body, people were impressed by him and wanted to learn fitness from him.
An investigation found that fitness trainer Vimal has more female friends than male friends on his social media accounts. Four months ago (June 24), he closed all social media accounts after killing businessman’s wife Ekta Gupta.
It is said that during training in the gym, coach Vimal Soni trapped Ekta’s wife in his trap. The intimacy between the two then deepened. It later came to be that Vimal murdered Ekta and buried her body in a pit near DM’s bungalow. But he was caught four months later. During this time, Ekta’s body had decomposed. Police conducted an autopsy on him yesterday.
Why was Ekta murdered?
However, after his arrest, fitness trainer Vimal said Ekta herself was leaning toward him. Ekta herself neither married me nor allowed me to marry. As a result of this dispute, he had to leave his path.
Vimal Soni revealed that before 2010, he was awarded the title of “Mr. Kanpur” and later “Mr. UP”. In 2010, he participated in the “Mr. India” bodybuilding competition in Mumbai but was eliminated after finishing fifth. He then came to Kanpur and worked as a waiter in a hotel.
During this period, when the former DM of Kanpur came to know him as “Mr. Kanpur” and “Mr. UP”, he made him work as a fitness instructor at the Officers’ Club next to the DM’s bungalow. But some time later, he was removed from his post for misconduct with officials. Thereafter, Vimal was again recommended by an IAS officer and, citing his connections, got a job as a fitness instructor in Green Park.
According to Kanpur DCP SK Singh, Vimal was working as a waiter in a hotel in Punjab when he absconded after killing Ekta. Then he wandered around for a while. No cell phones were used.
It is understood that on June 24, Vimal Soni murdered Ekta Gupta in her car at the Green Park Stadium parking lot. Before the murder, he gave her an anesthetic, causing her to lose consciousness. He hit Ekta on the neck and strangled her with a rope. The body was then removed and buried at the Officers Club near DM’s bungalow.
