Before the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the central government has taken a big decision. The Center has provided Z plus security to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) chief Sharad Pawar. The Union Home Ministry has instructed the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to provide this security to 83-year-old former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Sharad Pawar. A team of 55 armed personnel of CRPF has been appointed for this work.
After reviewing the threat assessment by central agencies, it was recommended to provide Z plus security to Sharad Pawar. Sources said that the central government has decided to provide him VIP security.
