Recently, he bowled amazingly in the ODI series against Australia. With this, he became the number one bowler. He jumped three spots at the same time. Meanwhile, Team India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may be staying away from ODI cricket, but even after that he managed a slim margin.
Shaheen Afridi hits all-time high rating
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been ranked first in the new ODI rankings released by ICC. He jumped three spots. His rating now stands at 696. This is also his highest rating in history. He had never been here before. Rashid Khan of Afghanistan ranked second with 687 points. South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj lost two places and is now down to third. His rating has dropped to 674. Kuldeep Yadav also lost one. He is currently ranked fourth with a rating of 665.
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj also benefited
Team India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has not played any ODI match for a long time. Even so, he has moved up two spots in this year’s ODI rankings. He is now ranked sixth with a 645 rating. New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult also moved up two places and is ranked seventh with 643 points. India’s Mohammad Siraj has also jumped two places and is now at seventh place. His rating is also 643. Meanwhile, Australian players Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood suffered losses. Zampa dropped five spots to No. 9 and Josh Hazlewood dropped three spots to No. 10. The rankings look a lot more interesting this time around.
