Sex racket busted in Prayagraj, 20 arrested including a Ugandan woman

20 people including a Ugandan woman have been arrested in Prayagraj, UP, after busting a sex racket running under the guise of a spa centre. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Deepak Bhukar said that the Civil Lines and Mahila Thana police conducted a joint operation late Friday night on the basis of a tip-off, in which several spa centres were targeted in P-Square Mall near Civil Lines bus stand.

The police were receiving many complaints about this spa center. So on Saturday, as soon as the day turned dark, the police raided the place with their team. Seeing so many policemen together, there was chaos in the entire building for a while.

According to DCP Deepak Bhukar, immoral activities were being conducted in these spa centers. Police raided four spa centers running in a building near Civil Lines bus stand and arrested a total of 20 people. These include 13 girls and 7 boys. One of these girls is from Uganda. Many spa centers were running on the second floor of the building for a long time. Civil Lines police received information that immoral activities were being conducted in these spa centers.

After this, the police raided four spa centers with full preparation. All the boys and girls caught have been tested at the Medical College of Prayagraj. DCP Bhukar said that action will be taken against all such spa centers running in the district.
