Several injured as car rams into crowd in Germany's Munich

A car crashed into a group of people in Munich, injuring several, police have confirmed. Authorities have launched a major operation in the Dachauer Strasse area to investigate the incident.
The German police in a statement confirmed that they have a “strong presence on-site” and that the driver of the vehicle has been arrested.

As per multiple reports, the injured included people participating in a strike.
This comes less than two months after the deadly attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, where the death toll has risen to six. The victims, including a 9-year-old boy, were killed in the attack. The suspect, 50-year-old Saudi psychiatrist Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, was arrested at the scene.
