A shameful incident has come to light in Bundi, Rajasthan. A seven-year-old girl was raped by the landlord’s son and then he fled from the spot. Police said on Friday that several teams have been formed to catch the landlord’s son who raped the girl.
According to a news agency report, the 24-year-old accused, who had fled from his house, made the daughter of a family living on rent a victim of his brutality. Bundi SP (city) Hanuman Prasad Meena said that the incident took place on Wednesday in the city’s bypass road area, but her parents came to know about it on Thursday night.
Meena said the parents noticed that their daughter was in distress while using the toilet and there were blood stains around her private parts, following which they approached the Bundi District Child Welfare Committee on Friday morning.
He said that later Bundi District Child Welfare Committee Chairperson Seema Poddar informed the police about the incident. The SP said that a case of rape has been registered against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Let us tell you that just two weeks ago, a case of gang rape of a 14-year-old minor girl came to light in Jodhpur. The victim had left the house angry with her mother’s scolding, after which the accused committed the rape incident in the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital premises.
Regarding this case, ACP Anil Kumar said that the girl’s family had filed a missing report in Sursagar police station on the evening of August 25. On August 26, the police found the girl, and her family was informed about the same. The girl had told that a dirty thing had happened to her in the hospital.
