Peshawar: A speeding vehicle suddenly lost its balance and fell into a ditch in northwest Pakistan on Saturday. At least seven people on board died. Six others were injured. Police said the accident occurred in the Buner area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province when the vehicle’s brakes failed and it lost control and fell into a ditch. Police and rescue workers rushed to the scene immediately and sent the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Pakistani officials said gunmen attacked a security forces convoy in the Sarveqai area of ​​South Waziristan region, injuring 11 security personnel. He said another attack occurred near the Dalatun checkpoint in the Lakki Marwat area as a convoy was traveling from the Karak area to the nuclear power project site in Kabul’s Kele.
