Peshawar: A speeding vehicle suddenly lost its balance and fell into a ditch in northwest Pakistan on Saturday. At least seven people on board died. Six others were injured. Police said the accident occurred in the Buner area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province when the vehicle’s brakes failed and it lost control and fell into a ditch. Police and rescue workers rushed to the scene immediately and sent the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment.

On the other hand, another accident occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday. It is understood that some unidentified gunmen began ambushing two different security force convoys in the province. This caused a stir among the security forces. Sixteen soldiers, including an officer, were injured in the gunman attack. All the injured have been sent to hospital.

Waziristan attack

Pakistani officials said gunmen attacked a security forces convoy in the Sarveqai area of ​​South Waziristan region, injuring 11 security personnel. Among the injured was an officer with the rank of captain. He said another attack occurred near the Dalatun checkpoint in the Lakki Marwat area as a convoy was traveling from the Karak area to the nuclear power project site in Kabul’s Kele.
