‘Send report to Home Ministry every 2 hours’, Central Government directs states amid protests by doctors

The Union Home Ministry has taken a big decision amid protests by doctors after the alleged rape and murder of a trainee doctor at the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. According to the new order of the Home Ministry, now all the states will have to give information about their law and order situation to the Home Ministry every 2 hours.

In view of the increasing crime in the states, the Home Ministry has taken this decision and has issued orders to all the states. In a message sent to the state police forces, the Home Ministry said that the law and order situation in all the states should be monitored in view of the protests. In its order, the Home Ministry has asked all states to send law and order reports to the Center every 2 hours through email, fax or WhatsApp.

The message sent on Friday said, “Henceforth, please send two consecutive hourly law and order situation reports in this regard to the Ministry of Home Affairs Control Room (New Delhi) from 4 pm today onwards through fax/email/Whatsapp.” Go.”

Let us tell you that doctors and other medical staff are protesting in different parts of the country, due to which health facilities are being affected. The protesters are pushing for a central law to check violence against healthcare workers, declaring hospitals as safe zones with mandatory security rights, among other demands.

In fact, the incident of rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9 has created outrage in the entire country. Doctors are continuously protesting. During the protest against this heinous crime on the morning of August 15, the mob vandalized some parts of the hospital.

Dead body was found in the seminar hall
On August 8-9, a female doctor was brutally assaulted in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital, Kolkata. A 31-year-old post graduate resident doctor on duty at the Government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was allegedly sexually harassed on the night of 8-9 August. She was found in an unconscious state in the seminar hall. He was immediately taken to the doctor, but he died during treatment. There were many injury marks on his body.

Revealed in postmortem report

The post mortem report of this case has also come out, which the police had handed over to the victim’s family. In this report, the nature and sexual penetration before the murder were discussed. It was told that the victim was murdered by strangulation. Before that she was raped. The accused had strangled her twice. He died between 3 and 5 in the morning.
