The blizzard swept through much of the country. About 10 to 23 centimeters of snow fell in the central, eastern and southwestern parts of the country. At least 220 flights have been canceled or delayed at airports across the country. Authorities ordered about 90 ships to stay in port. Snow on Seoul’s roads slowed morning traffic as emergency crews across the country worked to clear downed trees, signs and other safety hazards. The weather agency said snowfall will continue into Thursday afternoon across much of the country (AP).
