New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) – State Bank of India (SBI) has been named India’s Best 2024 by US-based Global Finance Magazine at the 31st annual Bank of the Year Awards held on the sidelines of the State Bank of India’s annual conference. The banks, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, are located in Washington.
SBI Chairman CS Setty received the award in recognition of the bank’s unwavering commitment to delivering service excellence and promoting financial inclusion across the country by earning the trust of its customers, SBI said in a statement.
For decades, the Global Finance Best Banks Awards have set the trusted standard for evaluating global financial institutions, making them invaluable to corporate decision-makers, especially as the global economy faces significant challenges.
