Seizure 2024: The fast on the third Monday of Sawan is being observed today, 5th August. All Mondays of Sawan are considered very special. Lord Shiva controls all three qualities of creation. Shiv ji himself is also a trinetradhaari. Besides, Lord Shiva is also worshiped basically in three forms only. The third Monday of Sawan is most important for the worship of all three forms. By worshiping these three forms, wishes can be fulfilled on the third Monday of Sawan. It would be best if these forms of Lord Shiva are worshiped during Pradosh period.
auspicious time
Today, on the third Monday of Sawan, three auspicious times are being created. The first Muhurta is Brahma Muhurta which will last from 4:20 am to 5:03 am. Also, Ashlesha Nakshatra will remain from 1:26 pm to 3:21 pm on August 5. Apart from this, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12 noon to 12.54 pm.
Neelkanth form of Shiva
When Halahal poison came out during the churning of the ocean, Lord Shiva drank that poison to protect humanity. He retained the poison in his throat, due to which his throat turned blue. Due to the blue throat, this form of Lord Shiva is called Neelkanth. By worshiping this form, there is no effect of things like enemy obstacles, conspiracies and tantra mantras. To worship the Neelkanth form of Lord Shiva, offer a stream of sugarcane juice on the Shiva Linga on Monday of Sawan. After this, chant the mantra of Neelkanth form – “Om Namo Neelkanthay”. Every planetary obstacle will end.
Nataraja form of Shiva
Shiva has invented all the dance, music and art in the world. Shiva has also told and explained all the secrets and subtle things of dance art to his disciples. He created such dances which impact our mind, body and soul. Nataraja form is worshiped for happiness and peace in life and to experience joy. Worshiping her is also good for success in the fields of knowledge, science, art, music and acting. Installing white colored Nataraja in the house on Monday of Sawan is considered best. Offer white flowers in their worship.
Mahamrityunjaya form of Shiva
By worshiping whom one can conquer even death, that form of Lord Shiva is – Mrityunjaya. Lord Shiva in this form protects the devotee with a pot of nectar. Worship of Mrityunjaya form of Lord Shiva provides protection from untimely death, longevity, health benefits and fulfillment of wishes. To worship Mrityunjay form of Lord Shiva on Monday of Sawan, offer Bel leaves and water stream on Shiva Linga. After this, do half parikrama of Shivling and pray for fulfillment of wishes. The mantra of Mrityunjaya form is- “Om hoon joon saah”.
