Seizure 2024: The month of Sawan is going on. This holy month is very dear to Lord Shiva. Shivji is original, eternal and infinite. He is called the lord of destruction, but he is also the cause of creation and maintenance. Lord Shiva is Ashutosh and fulfills the wishes of his devotees very quickly. Even if his mantras are chanted normally, it is beneficial. Any kind of wish can be fulfilled by chanting their mantras and praises methodically.
Importance of praising Shiva
Praises of Bholenath are considered very special and beneficial. His praises are generally metrical. Different hymns have been composed for his different forms. In special situations, the effect of his praises is infallible. Before reciting each praise, the respective form should be meditated upon.
Lord Shiva’s Panchakshari Mantra
“Namah Shivay” is the Panchakshari mantra of Lord Shiva. It is filled with the power of the five elements. By continuously chanting this mantra one definitely gets the blessings of Shiva. This is the six letter form of this mantra. “Om Namah Shivay” This mantra should be recited for public welfare or welfare of others.
Mahamrityunjay Mantra of Lord Shiva
This mantra is chanted for freedom from incurable diseases and good health. In this mantra, Lord Shiva in the form of Mahamrityunjay protects the devotee with a pot of nectar. This mantra has a short Chaturakshari form. “Om hoon joon saah”. This can be chanted continuously.
The mantra for reviving the dead is the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra: “Om Hraun Jhun Sah. Om Bhurbhavah Svah. Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam. This mantra is used when there is a situation like death.
Shiva Tandava Stotra
Shiva Tandav Stotra is a special praise sung by Ravana, a great devotee of Lord Shiva. This praise is metrical and contains many figures of speech. This stotra can be recited in any difficult situation. Its recitation is especially beneficial in case of inauspicious planets. It would be best if it is recited with dance. After the lesson, meditate on Lord Shiva and say your prayers.
Poverty Burning Hymn
This stotra is composed by Maharishi Vashishtha. Reciting this destroys poverty. If financial situation is bad then definitely read this. It should be recited both the times. It is important to maintain integrity with its recitation.
Rules for chanting Shiva Mantra
It is best to chant the mantras of Lord Shiva with Rudraksh rosary. It will be best if chanting the mantra is done during Pradosh period. Before chanting the mantra, one should meditate on the Kalyanasundaram form of Lord Shiva. Do not try to harm anyone with the mantras of Lord Shiva.
