Dr Sanjay Nishad has been holding talks with key leaders of the BJP in Delhi since Saturday but has failed to find a solution. After meeting JP Nadda and Sunil Bansal, Sanjay Nishad came up with two suggestions. In Majhwan and Katehari parliamentary seats, your candidate’s symbol is mine or your symbol is your candidate’s symbol. Both proposals were rejected by the BJP high command. Sanjay Nishad learned that the central leadership of the BJP has approved the proposal of the national organization and the Nishad party has no option but to support the BJP candidate. Sanjay Nishad said with a heavy heart that the Nishad Party will not field any candidate but will follow the principles of the alliance.
Sanjay Nishad changes tack
Without a seat at the table, Dr. Sanjay Nishad changed tack and started talking about the interests of the Nishad community. Dr. Sanjay Nishad proposed to grant Scheduled Caste status to the Nishad community and accommodate Nishad Party workers and look after their interests.
