Let us tell you that former Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Swami Prasad Maurya and his daughter Sanghamitra Maurya were declared ‘absconding’. MP-MLA court had declared father and daughter absconding. Summons were issued to both of them several times in a criminal case, yet this action was taken against them when they did not appear in the court. This entire matter was related to Sanghamitra Maurya.

It is alleged that Sanghamitra had fraudulently got married for the second time without obtaining divorce. A person named Deepak Swarnkar claims that he is married to Sanghamitra, but she is denying it. Deepak had filed a case against five people including Swami Prasad Maurya, his daughter Sanghamitra for assault, abuse, threatening to kill and conspiracy.

The case was filed in the MP-MLA court of Lucknow. It is being told that the court had issued summons thrice, bailable warrant twice and non-bailable warrant once, yet Swami Prasad Maurya and Sanghamitra were not appearing in the court. Therefore the court had declared him absconding.
