A Samsung phone with model number SM-S936U appeared on Geekbench, which is speculated to be the Galaxy S25+. The “U” indicates that this is the US version of the phone. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset with two cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six cores clocked at 2.90GHz. The chipset listed comes with integrated Adreno 830 GPU.Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus Geekbench Inside Samsung Galaxy S25

Judging from the chip architecture, this is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is scheduled to be launched in October. It is worth noting that previous leaks claimed that all Samsung Galaxy S25 series phones may be equipped with this chipset. There may also be an Exynos 2500 variant in the series. Typically, flagship Galaxy phones are powered by Qualcomm chipsets when launched in the US market.

On the benchmark website, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ scored 3,054 points and 9,224 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The Geekbench listing shows that the Galaxy S25+ will allegedly support 12GB of RAM and run Android 15.

Previous leaks showed CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25+. It appears to be similar to the existing Galaxy S24+ model, with extra rings around the triple rear camera slot. We saw a similar design in the rear camera module of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is expected to have a 4,755mAh battery, with the typical value being 4,900mAh. This is similar to the previous Galaxy S24+. It is expected to support 45W wired fast charging.
