Samsung Galaxy F05 was launched in India on Tuesday. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and 4GB of RAM. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging. The phone has a 6.7-inch HD+ screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It will go on sale in a single RAM and single storage configuration later this month. The phone appears to be a rebadged version of the Samsung Galaxy M05 or Samsung Galaxy A05.

Samsung announced in a press release that the Samsung Galaxy F05 will be priced at Rs 7,999 in India for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The phone will be available in India from September 20 via Flipkart, Samsung India website and selected offline retail stores. The phone comes in Twilight Blue colour.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 is equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ screen. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The phone supports up to 4GB of RAM expansion and storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card. It is equipped with One UI 5 based on Android 14. The company confirmed that the phone will support two operating system upgrades and four years of security updates.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy F05 comes with dual rear cameras consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a waterdrop-shaped notch.

Samsung Galaxy F05 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging via USB Type-C port. For security, it is equipped with face unlock feature. The back panel of this phone has a leather pattern.
