Sambhal MP yet to attend FIR filing, SP MP meets Om Birla

SP Chairman Akhilesh Yadav

There has been an uproar across Uttar Pradesh regarding the violence in Sambhar. Samajwadi Party MPs under Akhilesh Yadav met the Lok Sabha Speaker. Socialist MPs asked the Speaker to discuss the Sambal violence in the House of Representatives. During this time, Akhilesh raised the issue of the FIR lodged against Sambhal MP and said that the FIR was lodged even in his absence. He demanded protection for Sambhar MP.

How else would MPs work in such circumstances, he said. Akhilesh Yadav has been vocal about the violence in Sambhar. Yesterday, Sunday, he tweeted that he called for peace in Sambal. He also said that no one should lose hope of justice. Injustice will not last long, governments will change, and the age of justice will come.

In fact, violence broke out on Sunday over an investigation into the Sambal Shahi mosque. The violence left four people dead and more than two dozen injured. In connection with the incident, a case has been registered against SP MP Zia Ur Rehman from Sambhal and Suhail Iqbal, son of local MLA Nawab Iqbal. The two men were accused of conspiring to commit violence, and lawmaker Zia Ur Rehman said he was not even present. Despite this, the FIR was registered.
