Sam Ayub created history with a brilliant innings, becoming the first batsman to do so in ODI cricket.

Saim Ayyub century: Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second ODI. In this game, Pakistan did absolutely everything right. The bowlers and batsmen performed well for the team. Zimbabwe set a target of 146 runs for Pakistan to win, which Pakistan achieved thanks to Sam Ayub’s storming century. In addition to Ayoub, Abdullah Shafiq also contributed 32 points.

Completed his century in just 53 balls

Sam Ayub kept the pace right from the start of the match and gave the Zimbabwean bowlers a challenge. The opposing team’s bowlers couldn’t stand in front of him. Pakistan lost the first ODI match by 80 runs. Sam Ayub became the first batsman in the history of ODI cricket to score when his team scored less than 150 runs. No batsman before him could score 150 runs as a team in ODIs. Zimbabwe batted first and scored 145 runs. While chasing the target, Pakistan scored 148 runs and won the match.

Will debut in 2024

Sam Ayub will not make his ODI debut for Pakistan until 2024. Since then, he has scored a total of 436 runs in 7 ODI matches so far. He also played 6 Test matches and 23 T20 internationals for Pakistan.
