A three-match T20 series is ongoing between Pakistan and South Africa. South Africa won the first match of the series. In the second match of the series, Pakistan took the lead in toss and bat as they scored 206 runs in 20 overs and lost 5 wickets. Sam Ayub played a brilliant innings for Pakistan in this match. He scored an unbeaten 98 runs in this match. He could have easily scored a hundred in this game, but his teammates did not support him and he failed to score a hundred. Overall, it would not be wrong to say that he was betrayed by his own players.
Sam could have scored a century
Pakistan young batsman Sam Ayub scored 98 runs off 57 balls in this match. In this innings, his batting average was 171.92. He has hit 11 fours and 5 sixes. He was just two runs short of a hundred in this game. Although he had a chance to score a goal, his teammates did not give him any scoring opportunities and he was left at the non-forward end.
Teammates did not go on strike
Sam Ayub bowled Irfan Khan on the third ball of the 19th over of the match. After this, Irrfan Khan hit a six on the fourth ball and a four on the fifth ball. After that, Irrfan Khan hit a single in the last ball of the game. So, he got a strike even in the 20th over. After hitting four on the first ball on the 20th hole, Irfan Khan was caught on the second ball. Abbas Afridi then came on to bat. He scored 11 runs off 4 balls in his innings without even giving a strike to Sam Ayub. Ayub scored 98 runs from 9 balls in a row at the non-striker end and no one expected his century. These things clearly show that the Pakistan team is not united at all.
