Russia carried out missile strikes in many cities of Ukraine today, i.e. on the morning of 26 August 2024. Drone attacks were carried out. Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky also admitted this. Zelensky said that the Ukrainian army is advancing in the Kursk region of Russia. On the other hand, the Russian army has gained an edge towards the eastern region of Ukraine. Russian missiles and drones targeted electrical substations in Kiev, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnitsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Nikolaev, Kirovograd and Odessa. Gas compressor stations and gas transportation systems were targeted in Lviv, Ivano-Frankovsk and Kharkiv.
