The controversy first surfaced in 2020 when an old post of Esha resurfaced online claiming that Rupali had an affair with Ashwin Verma while he was still married. Esha’s recent video statement further fueled the issue, where she reiterated claims that she and her mother faced challenges due to Rupali’s relationship with her father.
