First change: LPG prices
Oil marketing companies change the prices of LPG Cylinder on the first of every month and the revised prices can be issued from 6 am on August 1, 2024. While many changes have been seen in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders in the recent past, there has been no change in the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders. Even on the first of July, the price of Commercial PLG Cylinder was reduced by Rs 30 in the capital Delhi. In such a situation, this time people are expecting relief in the prices of domestic cylinders.
Second change- ATF and CNG-PNG rate
Along with the change in the prices of LPG Cylinder on the first day of the month across the country, oil marketing companies also revise the prices of air fuel i.e. Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. Their new prices may also be revealed on August 1, 2024. It is noteworthy that earlier in the month of April, ATF prices were reduced.
Third change- HDFC Bank Credit Card
The date of August 1 is also bringing changes for the users of HDFC Bank credit card, the largest private sector bank. Actually, if rent payment is made through HDFC Bank Credit Card through third party apps CRED, Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge and others, then 1% charge will be imposed on that transaction and the limit per transaction has been fixed at Rs 3,000. . There will be no additional charges on fuel transactions for transactions less than Rs 15,000, however, transactions above Rs 15,000 will attract 1% charge on the total amount.
Fourth change- Google Map charges
Google Map is also going to change its rules in India from August 1, 2024. Which is going to be implemented in the entire country from the first date. In fact, the world’s largest search engine has announced to reduce the charges for its Google Map service in India by 70 percent. Apart from this, now Google will also take payment for its map service in Indian Rupees instead of dollars.
Fifth change- 13 days Bank Holiday
If there is any bank related work in the month of August, then before leaving home, first look at the bank holiday list issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Actually, according to the August Bank Holiday List, there will be no work in banks for 13 days in the entire month. There will be holidays in banks due to various occasions like Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami and Independence Day. These holidays also include the weekly holidays falling on the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday.
