Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh president Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Alwar, Rajasthan on Sunday to attend an event. Bhagwat said that what is commonly called Hinduism is essentially a universal human religion. He said, ‘A Hindu wants everyone to be happy. Being a Hindu means being the most generous person in the world, who embraces everyone and shows kindness to everyone, and he has inherited these values ​​from his great ancestors. He uses education not to humiliate anyone but to share knowledge, uses wealth not for pleasure but for charity, and uses power to protect the weak.

The RSS chief said, “Anyone who has these values ​​and culture can be considered a Hindu. “No matter whom he worships, no matter what language he speaks, no matter his caste, region or food habits. Mohan Bhagwat said the Sangh was once unknown to many but now has gained wide recognition and respect. There are many people who are outwardly against the Sangh but inwardly respect it. Despite his reservations, he acknowledged the importance of the union.

The RSS chief said that protecting the Hindu religion, culture and society is very important to ensure the development of the country. He called on the Sangh volunteers to adopt and promote five core principles: social harmony, environment, family values, self-awareness and civic discipline. Mohan Bhagwat also expressed concern over the decline in family values, which he attributed to the misuse of social media. He believed that due to this, the younger generation is fast losing traditional values.

Family members should attend religious activities

Bhagwat suggested that family members should gather once a week for religious activities and meals. This will strengthen mutual relations and protect cultural values. The RSS chief planted saplings at Matri Van in Alwar. Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Rajasthan Environment Minister Sanjay Sharma and other leaders were present. Alwar MP Bhupendra Yadav said that in line with the Prime Minister’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, the city is developing Matri Van to increase green cover. The RSS chief will stay in Alwar till September 17.
