He said every road in the state should be improved so that the common people have a pleasant experience while walking. Not only that, every newly built road should have a 5-year warranty. If the road is damaged, only the construction unit can rebuild it.

While issuing instructions to the Mandi Parishad, the chief minister said farmers are the biggest consumers of roads. Special attention should be paid to convenience for farmers. Roads should be constructed using FDR method. With this approach, natural resources, money and time can be saved, and the quality of work can be improved.

He said the repair and drainage work of all roads under the jurisdiction of the Mandi Board should be completed within the stipulated time. Special attention should be paid to quality. The chief minister, while communicating with NHAI officials, said tolls should not be levied until construction work on the highway is completed.

Understanding the sectoral action plans of Pothole Mukti Abhiyan, the Chief Minister said that there is no shortage of road budget and better planning is needed in all sectors. He directed all departments to ensure that the agency/contractor constructing the road will also assume responsibility for its maintenance for the next five years after its completion. The terms and conditions in this regard should be clearly mentioned. Ministers and officials from various departments should conduct random site inspections every week to review construction projects. Job responsibilities should also be clear.

Adequate road maintenance equipment

The Chief Minister stressed on making work mechanized rather than manual. He said departments should be equipped with adequate road maintenance equipment. Road patching operations should be performed in automatic mode.

CM Yogi said haphazard work on roads increases the chances of accidents. After the roads are laid with sewers, pipes, etc., they should be properly repaired. Accidents may occur due to higher circuit breakers on the road. Therefore, benchtop crushers should be built on roads.

Geotagging of pothole mitigation and renovation activities

The CM further said that pothole removal and reconstruction activities should be geo-tagged. It should be linked to the PM Gatishakti portal and its own portal should also be developed in a similar manner to enable continuous monitoring of the quality of work. Highway repairs will also continue to be carried out to make the movement of people more convenient during the festival. Develop an action plan to repair roads built with funding from MPs and MLAs.

Meanwhile, the cane department was responsible for repairing the cane board and school buildings. For security arrangements at industrial premises, arrangements for CCTV, street lighting, cleaning, etc. should be ensured.

The chief minister also said that the concept of smart roads should be promoted in prime locations of Nagar Panchayat, Municipal Corporation and various district municipal councils. Smart roads should be equipped with the same facade lights. The urban development department should also show uniformity in urban facade lighting.

Urbanization in the state continues to expand. Under no circumstances should illegal colonies be allowed to develop. The handover of the new colony can only take place after basic facilities such as roads, electricity, water are in place.

The National Commission for Women has a great responsibility

Apart from this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given major responsibilities to the newly formed National Commission for Women. He said that the Nari Shakti Vandan Act will soon come into effect in the country. With this move, one-third of the seats in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies will be reserved for women. For the country’s women to truly benefit, special efforts need to be made to develop their leadership skills. The National Commission for Women plays an important role in protecting the interests of women and their welfare. The National Commission for Women should prepare a detailed plan for this purpose.

At a special meeting with all officials, including the chairperson, vice-chairman and members of the newly formed State Commission for Women on Tuesday, the Chief Minister also discussed the objectives, responsibilities and rights of the establishment of the State Commission for Women and made necessary recommendations . guidelines.

Discussing the utility of women and child protection organizations, the chief minister said important helplines such as 1090, 181 and 112 have been consolidated. Questions from women from all over the state are heard here. The Women’s Commission should go to 1090 to understand the issues faced there. You should also make suggestions for further improvements to the 1090 system.

The chief minister also wanted the committee to provide guidance to self-help groups at Anganwadi in BC Sakhi from time to time. During the meeting, the Chief Minister issued necessary instructions to the officials concerned to provide all necessary resources for the smooth functioning of the committee.
