There was a huge commotion during the Diwali function at Jamia University in Delhi on Tuesday. It was alleged that during the show, some people made alterations to the rangoli and lamps, following which a riot ensued. The riot occurred at Gate 7 on campus. There were also reports of clashes between students, with both sides shouting slogans. It is understood that the situation is currently calm.
In fact, Jamia University organizes Diwali events every year. ABVP and college students organized the program.
