Veer Savarkar’s grandson Ranjit Savarkar has launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He accused Rahul Gandhi of lying and repeatedly using Savarkar’s name in politics. Ranjit Savarkar said Rahul Gandhi was making statements on Savarkar to cover up the sins of his ancestors and engage in Muslim vote bank politics. Ranjit Savarkar said Rahul Gandhi’s statement in Parliament was false and misleading.

Ranjit Savarkar said Veer Savarkar had full faith in the constitution and democracy. He drafted a draft in 1945 which stated that the country should be governed without any discrimination. Ranjit Savarkar attacked Gandhi and Nehru calling them anti-constitutional and the Congress was the most anti-constitutional party.

Ranjit Savarkar surrounded the Shiv Sena (UBT) and raised many questions. He said Uddhav Thackeray’s party was straying away from Savarkar’s ideas. He claimed that the Shiv Sena MP who earlier supported Savarkar is now missing. He said Uddhav Thackeray’s political downfall was because his party abandoned the ideas of Balasaheb Thackeray.

Ranjit Savarkar claimed that Rahul Gandhi was practicing Muslim vote bank politics by repeatedly making statements about Savarkar. He said those who believed in Savarkar should consider their compulsion on the Congress.
