Abhinav’s mother further stated in her complaint that the videos not only hurt her son’s religious sentiments but also affected his daily life. Abhinav is no longer able to practice his religious practices without fear and continues to fear physical and online harassment.
Abhinav’s family claimed that Abhinav’s father was teased in these videos, which seriously affected the dignity and mental peace of the Abhinav family. The actions of these YouTubers caused mental stress to their families, who were once on the verge of suicide.
