The students called off their five-day agitation after the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) agreed to their demand to conduct the Provincial Civil Services Preliminary Examination (PSC) in one day. The protest, which has lasted since November 11, has now completely ended, and the road in front of the committee has completely resumed traffic.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Thursday announced that it has constituted examination committees for Examining Officer (RO) and Assistant RO (ARO) to ensure transparency and fairness. Now everyone’s eyes are on that committee.

Talking to the media, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Civil) Shyamjit Singh said that 10 to 15 students have been on strike in front of the police station since November 11 and explanations were given to them on Friday. They went home after about 9pm. The road in front of the council is currently open to vehicular traffic.

Student leader Pankaj Kumar Pandey said the PCS-Pre exam dates have been announced. In this way, all students focus on their studies and are busy studying. However, there remains confusion over the review of RO-ARO. The students are currently awaiting a report from the committee’s committee in this regard.

Let me tell you that the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced to conduct the PCS-Pre examination in two shifts on December 22, which has been welcomed by the students.

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission announced that the PCS-Pre examination would be conducted on December 7 and 8. At the same time, it was also announced that the Examining Officer and Assistant Examining Officer (RO..ARO) pre-examination will be conducted on December 22 and 23. After this, students began to protest. Students demanded that both exams be held on the same day.
