Reliance employees get Diwali gifts like cashews, almonds, raisins; watch unboxing

October 28, 2024: As Diwali approaches, companies across India are celebrating with various gifts for their employees, from cash bonuses to sweets and dry fruits. This year, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries gave employees a festive gift of three packets of cashews, almonds and raisins, all packed in a white cloth bag.

Reliance Jio Infocomm software developers have shared a video showcasing the unboxing experience. The white box has “Deepawali Greetings” and “Shubh Deepawali” written in English and Hindi. Inside, employees received a bag containing individual cashews, almonds and raisins. The gift also includes a photo from the Ambani family – Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, Isha Ambani and Anand Cards for Piramal, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant and the family’s young grandchildren.

The unboxing video quickly attracted attention on Instagram and has been viewed more than 1.6 million times. In the comments, viewers shared their thoughts, with one user mentioning that they received an air fryer from the company, while another said they received a Diwali cash bonus this year.

This event at Reliance has become an annual tradition and similar gifts have been distributed in previous years. Last year, employees received a similar pink box that also contained dried fruit. Earlier this year, Reliance gifted a similar box to its employees to celebrate the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which featured a red box and gold lettering.
