The Redmi Buds 6 were launched in China on Thursday alongside the Redmi Note 14 5G and Note 14 Pro series phones. The TWS earphones are equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers and support active noise reduction (ANC) up to 49dB. It is said to provide up to 42 hours of playback time using the charging case. Notably, Redmi Buds 6 Lite and Redmi Buds 6 Active were recently launched in select global markets. The company is yet to announce the global launch of the base Buds 6 headphones.

Redmi Buds 6 adopts a traditional in-ear design with silicone ear tips, and is equipped with a 12.4mm titanium diaphragm and a 5.5mm micro piezoelectric ceramic unit. They have an AI-powered dual-microphone system with wind noise reduction. The headphones support up to 49dB ANC and have three transparency modes. They provide a 360-degree spatial audio experience.
The newly launched TWS earphones are compatible with Xiaomi Earbuds App. They support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity as well as SBC and AAC audio codecs. They also support dual-device connectivity. The headphones have an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. At the same time, the charging box has a gap lighting function to remind users of the battery level.
The Redmi Buds 6 are said to have a total battery life of up to 42 hours. Meanwhile, the earphones are said to last up to 10 hours on a single charge. Redmi claims that it can provide up to 4 hours of playback on a 10-minute charge. Each earphone weighs 5.0 grams, and the total weight including the earphone case is 43.2
