Cause of post-COVID-19 increase in heart attacks revealed
The reasons for the sudden increase in heart attacks following the COVID-19 pandemic are already well known. Preventative drug testing efforts will take place in the coming days. Experts made this claim at an international pharmacology conference organized by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Experts claim that the reason for the increase in such cases is oxidative stress and the release of catecholamine hormones in the brain.
In fact, N protein has a protective function in the body. These are regulated by ACE 2. When oxidative stress increases in the body, the heart rate increases. To control this condition, the brain releases catecholamine hormones. Its function is to control the heart, but due to excessive release, the heart stops beating and the patient dies.
It is important to continually check ACE levels in fibrosis.
Dr Ramesh Goyal, former vice-chancellor of Delhi University of Medical Sciences and Research, said he had said so from the beginning. COVID-19 is affecting angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), a regulatory switch. This changed him. A sudden increase in markers of cell division or inflammation, leading to thickening of the blood or cardiac arrest.
Dr. Goyal said a lot will change after ACE 2. Once you understand ACE 2 and renin angiotensin aldosterone, things will change. Then people realized there was still a lot of work to be done in fibrosis. Due to fibrosis caused by the new coronavirus, this Sir system in the body becomes deteriorated. Some people also call it Long Covid. For this purpose, genomic analysis is also necessary. It is also important to check the levels of ACE in fibrosis.
Need to study drugs – Dr. Harlokesh Yadav
Meanwhile, Devendra Kumar Aggarwal of the United States said that atrial fibrillation is the inability of the heart muscle to function properly due to the long-term COVID-19 epidemic, which is why sudden death occurs. There may be many reasons for this. Pollution is also a big reason for this. The environment plays an important role in this.

Dr Harlokesh Yadav, secretary of the organizing committee of AIIMS and Department of Pharmacology, said that at this international conference, experts discussed why heart disease occurs suddenly, why deaths occur and the need for research on its drugs. However, it will take a long time before the drug is tested and reaches people.
55% of patients don’t understand the seriousness of a heart attack
Dr. Anand Krishnan, professor of community medicine at AAIMS, said 55 percent of patients die because they fail to understand the seriousness of a heart attack. Therefore, it is important to leave home quickly and arrive at the hospital quickly. If you do this, your chances of saving the patient will also increase. It was important for him to sound the alarm immediately whenever he had chest pain. Those who already have problems should be more cautious.
