A sensational case has come to light in Thane district of Maharashtra. Here a man raped a woman. When the woman became pregnant, she was forced to have an abortion. The victim complained about this matter to the police. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigating the entire matter.
According to the agency, the Rabodi police station officer said that the accused named 28-year-old Riyasat Ilyas Qureshi first befriended the 24-year-old girl. By luring the girl into talks, he gradually lured her into marriage. When the girl agreed with the accused, the accused started cheating on her.

It is alleged that Riyasat Ilyas raped the girl several times between February 2022 and January 2024. The accused is a tailor. He works in sewing clothes. When the girl asked him about marriage, he flatly refused. After this, the victim approached the police with her complaint and narrated her ordeal.

The police registered a complaint in this matter and conducted a raid. Meanwhile, the accused was arrested from Jogeshwari in Mumbai. The police team is busy interrogating him. Officials say that action is being taken against accused Ilyas under relevant sections.
