Nagrota, September 19: Senior BJP leader Devinder Singh Rana today said that the entire country is proud of its armed forces, which are the best in the world.
He was addressing a meeting of the All India Janata Service Commission today, according to a press release. The meeting was organised by Nagrota Tehsil chairman Captain Bansi Lal and attended by many veterans and patriotic citizens.
Many veterans from Nagrota, Dhansar and Surinsar participated in the event. The meeting started with two minutes of silence to remember all the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
In his speech, Rana highly praised the contribution of the armed forces and veterans in protecting the country from the evil conspiracy of anti-national elements.
He said the nation is forever grateful to the soldiers who made great sacrifices in defending their country. “It would be a great honor for me if I could do something for these families,” Rana said.
Brigadier Balbir Singh Sambyar, chairman of the All India Janata Service Commission for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, said: “For us, the country comes first and we will vote for a candidate who is not only patriotic but also has a vision for Jammu and Kashmir and so far, no one is better than Devinder Singh Rana ji.”
