Rajasthan: Sold jewelry and gave contract for murder, husband narrowly escapes, 5 arrested including wife and lover

A shocking case of murder conspiracy has come to light from Balotra, Rajasthan. Where a woman sold her jewellery and gave lakhs of rupees to the criminals. But the accused could not succeed in their aim. Police have arrested five people including the woman and her lover.

During interrogation, the accused told the police that Komal was having an affair with a young man named Hanumanpuri. Komal wanted to get rid of her husband Sureshpuri and live with her lover. Komal even sold her jewellery to get the money for the contract killing. After this, she talked to contract killers Arvind alias Deva, Suresh Kumar and Ashok Kumar about the murder. When Sureshpuri survived the murderous attack once, the accused were planning to attack him again and make the murder look like an accident.

The deal for the murder of the husband was done for Rs 5 lakh

Actually, the DST team of the police had received information through an informer that Siwana resident Suresh Puri’s wife Komal had conspired with her lover Hanumanpuri to kill him. The contract killers have gathered near Jasol Phanta for the murder. They can kill Sureshpuri at any time. On receiving the information, the DST team along with Jasol police station in-charge hid in the acacia bushes and conducted an intensive search operation and laid siege and arrested Komal, her lover Hanumanpuri and Arvind alias Deva, Suresh Kumar and Ashok Kumar who had taken the contract for the murder. The police is busy interrogating the accused.

Initial investigation by the police has revealed that Komal and her lover Hanumanpuri had planned the murder. The deal for the murder of the husband was struck for 10 lakhs, Komal had collected 5 lakhs by selling her jewellery. The lover and girlfriend had fixed the deal for 5 lakhs, saying that the murder would look like an accident. 2 lakhs was also given in advance to the contract killer for the murder. The remaining amount was to be given after the murder. For the murder of Sureshpuri, the accused had done a recce of all the routes from his house to his house.

Police arrested five accused including a woman

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Manisha Gurjar, after the failed attempt to murder, the contract killers could not find Sureshpuri alone. In such a situation, the accused were looking for another chance to kill. As soon as the police got information about the conspiracy to murder Sureshpuri, the police along with the DST team took action and arrested Komal’s lover Hanumanpuri, contract killer Arvind alias Deva, Ashok Kumar, Suresh Kumar.
