It is good news for thousands of youths in Rajasthan who are preparing for government jobs. The Bhajan Lal government will provide government jobs to four lakh youths in the next five years. More than one lakh recruitments will be made this year as well. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday announced the Youth Policy 2024 (Rajasthan Yuva Niti) for the youths of the state government.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma addressed the 18th convocation of Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) on Wednesday. The chief guest at the event was Draupadi Murmu. CM Sharma said at the ceremony that the state government is setting new standards in the field of education every day. The government will conduct four lakh government recruitments in the next five years and more than one lakh posts will be recruited this year as well.
Objectives of Rajasthan Youth Policy
According to an official statement, CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, “The state government is launching Youth Policy 2024 for all-round development of the youth and a new National Skill Policy for skill development so that the path of advancement of the youth is paved.”
He said that the Atal Entrepreneurship Program is being launched to help young people set up startups and improve their entrepreneurial skills, through which young people will be mentored by CEOs from home and abroad.
Initial capital Rs. 100 million
The CM also announced funding of up to Rs 10 crore to selected startups. He said Atal Innovation Studios and Accelerators are being set up in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner and Udaipur at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore for the benefit of the youth.
Let us tell you that before this, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari had talked about creating 400,000 jobs in 5 years while presenting the first budget of the newly elected BJP government in July. He had said that we are determined to recruit 400,000 people in 5 years. In the account poll, recruitment of 70,000 posts was announced. During our tenure, 20,000 youths have been appointed.
He had said that it is proposed to raise the target this year to recruit more than one lakh posts. We provide employment every year through time-bound recruitment examinations. Apart from this, 5,500 new posts will be created in Rajasthan Police and 1,500 traffic volunteers will be created in big cities.
