According to IMD, there may be heavy rain in Gujarat today i.e. on 3rd September. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for this place. Apart from this, an orange alert has been issued for Saurashtra, Kutch and Western Madhya Pradesh. There is an alert of very heavy rain here. Apart from this, there is a yellow alert for rain in many states.

4 September

There is a possibility of some reduction in the amount of rain tomorrow i.e. on September 4. IMD has issued an orange alert with very heavy rains only in Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat. However, a yellow alert has been issued for many states.

5 September

With each passing day, the amount of rain is decreasing. On 5th September, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Western Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar and Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

6 September

The next day, on September 6, there is a yellow alert for rain in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, Western Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.

7 September

There is a continuous decrease in rainfall activity. On September 7, rain will be seen in only 5 states. According to IMD, there are chances of heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and Chhattisgarh on Saturday.

8 September

On Sunday, there are chances of heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and Chhattisgarh. IMD has issued a yellow alert for these places.

This year the rain made a record

Let us tell you that this year 2024 has received the highest rainfall in the last 30 years. There has been 599.7 mm rainfall between July and August. This is the second time in three decades that such heavy rainfall has occurred. Earlier in 1994, there was 636.8 mm rainfall.
