In this situation, the people of Bihar living across the country are planning to return home to celebrate these festivals. In this situation, Indian Railways also operates Nazar trains during these festivals so that people celebrating Diwali and Chas can return home easily and conveniently. In this sequence, many special trains are operated from various stations of the East Central Railway on the occasion of Diwali and Chhatti for the convenience of passengers. We have provided you the list of 14 special trains that run during Diwali and Chhath.
Giving information in this regard, CPRO Saraswati Chandra of East-Central Railway said that in view of the large influx of passengers during Diwali and Chhath, 105 pairs of special trains originating from/reaching the jurisdiction of East-Central Railway and 37 pairs of special trains passing through East-Central Railway are operating. He revealed that special trains are also operated from Muzaffarpur, Barauni, Darbhanga, Jaynagar, Sitamarhi, Saharsa stations to Anand Vihar/New Delhi/Delhi and from Katihar, Kamakya and Guwahati via East Central Railway Special trains from Jurisdiction to Anand Vihar.
