Railway Recruitment 2024: There is good news for young candidates preparing for Railway recruitment. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Western Railway (WR) has released 5000 vacancies for class 10 qualified candidates. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of RRC Western Railway rrc-wr.com to apply online.
The online application process for RRC Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will begin on September 23 and will continue till October 22, 2024. Candidates are advised to read the following information carefully before applying. A total of 5,066 Apprentice vacancies are to be filled in this recruitment exercise.
Application for No. 10 Pass
Candidates who have passed the matriculation exam or class 10 exam from a recognized board and have passed the 10+2 education system exam can apply. Keep in mind that the aggregate marks in class 10 should be at least 50%. The age limit for candidates should be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years. Those who are awaiting SSC/ITI results before the notified date are not eligible to apply. ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT is mandatory. Check the notification for more information.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected based on a merit list consisting of average percentage marks in prelims examination (aggregate minimum 50%) and ITI examination with equal weightage in both. Final selection is subject to verification of original documents and medical certificate.

Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 100 is required for application. However, SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from the fee. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card or internet banking as per the instructions on the portal.
