Donald Trump is omnipresent – from boardrooms to the dens of strategists, from the worldwide bedrooms and living rooms. There are people who may strictly agree and support it, as they turn everything into a maga (Make America Great Again), Mawa (Make America Work Again), or Mara (Make America Rich Again) Agenda, which is operated by ‘America First’. He has tried to measure his friends, enemies, and francies to be very rigid with equally associates and friends, as he tries to push and push the decaying corpse of the so -called liberal order, which the US and West created themselves.
Over the next four years, there may be very little equality in the US and the world that exist. Like woke lovers, the nations are looking for new alliances – even if it is momentary or unpleasant. No wonder across the US, there have been more than a thousand performance in response to the Trumpian earthquake. America’s ally – from Canada and Mexico to Europe – are working for the impact to retreat in their own cocoons in the hope of weathering of excessive functions of Trump. Some, such as Israel and Hungary, have proved to be sufficient enough to capitalize, while others are still struggling with tariffs and tsunamis of dangers. China, perhaps the only potential beneficiary of this disruption, has chosen to call Trump’s Bluff – an action that he dismissed as a “overrection”.
Char ‘u
If someone was investigating the USP of the Trump regime (take it or leave it), especially Trump 2.0 can be dubbed – a continuity of Trump 1.0 – four different personality and policy symptoms emerge, here is summarized as four USs. The first ‘U’ reflects unconventional foreign, trade and safety policies, deliberately to engineering uncertainty. The second is unilateralism, which reduces the installed criteria. The third understands the dynamics of the power games and plays poker for Trump’s benefits. Finally, the fourth ‘U’ represents the reducing sovereignty and multilateralism – the most harmful blow to the international system.
His bold statement – when attaining Greenland, changed Canada to the 51st kingdom, rebuilding the Panama Canal, changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, and released “hell” to warns Palestinians and Iranians – he has generated tremendous concerns over global security and sovereignty. A long collaborative, Denmark has felt special pressure due to Trump’s continuous interest in achieving Greenland. Away from getting away, his hunger is less.
The message is clear: obtain it by hook or crooks, looking at Greenland’s important geostragatic value for American security. Located between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans, Greenland is the largest island in the world, east of the Canadian Arctic Islands. Trump told that NBC News He believes that the US “Greenland can get” 100 percent “, and while the military force is not its favorite route,” I take nothing from the table “. The current administration considers Greenland to be important for Arctic dominance, military mobility and mineral extraction.
Denmark trip
I recently occurred to visit Denmark on a lecture tour for 75 years of our diplomatic relations, an incident that almost took place with the news that American would be visiting Usha Vance Greenland, of course to watch dog-flatting games. Perhaps a soft, barometer landing. The Danish Prime Minister called it part of the “unacceptable pressure” campaign on the semi-late Danish region. Denmark was away from the surprises, especially looking at the time and the rhetoric of the rhetoric that wandered on his sovereignty. When Vice President JD Vance visited the American Aadhaar in Greenland, the matters went ahead, further Danish citizens – a feeling that I had seen first by hand. Vance repeatedly criticized Denmark’s “Underworcement” in Greenland’s infrastructure and security, repeated Trump’s position: “It matters to our safety, it matters to our missile defense, and we are going to protect America’s interests, come in hell or high water.” The question of many countries is now struggling with this: how does one face a unbridled superpower?
Subsequently, Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen visited Greenland – part of the Denmark kingdom – which holds immense strategic significance in the Arctic. Trump increases Russian and Chinese footprints in the region, with direct results for the US and European security. Nevertheless, his approach is completely unacceptable for Danish people. Fredericksen challenged Trump’s ambitions, stating, “You cannot do any other country in the name of international security.” While feeling hurt and corner, he commented: “When you ask our businesses to invest in America, they do. When you ask us to spend more on your defense, we do. When you ask us to strengthen security in the Arctic, we are on the same page. But when you ask for a part of the state of Denmark’s region, we want to take a part of the state of Denmark, we want to meet our close people What are you doing.
No more friends?
As a leading NATO member, Denmark stood shoulder to shoulder with the US in Afghanistan and other places. But the time has changed. The transatlantic alliance is now facing one of its weakest moments.
The US is also counting on a small population of 58,000 Greenlanders, some of which want to separate from Denmark and align more closely with the US. Some signs of this were clear in recent elections, where Pro-US parties received more support. State Secretary Marco Rubio claimed that Greenlanders no longer want to be a part of Denmark, and that America would respect its right to self -determination. America seems confident in its ability to increase public opinion in its favor – perhaps not a difficult task. Allegedly, the budget office staff of the White House are searching for the way “sweetening the pot” for Greenland, potentially offering Denmark more funds than the current $ 600 million contribution. This clear, transaction approach seriously reduces the stability of the Westfallian system and even challenges the principles of the United Nations Charter.
Nevertheless, the United States has never removed from such adventures, including changes in various geographical areas. A more collaborative approach with Denmark could have saved this sharp and mistrust, and ensured better with shared security requirements. Meanwhile, American extraordinary – and expansionism – appear to live here.
