Rahul Gandhi also asked why the Prime Minister did not ask how many Dalits, OBCs and tribals are present in corporate, judiciary and media. Apart from this, he also said that the caste discrimination that happens in India does not happen anywhere else in the world.

Rahul Gandhi made it clear at the Telangana Congress Committee meeting that he is fully committed to ensuring caste census. He said the census was a first step in assessing the extent and nature of discrimination. “Through the caste census in Telangana, we can set it as a model for the entire country,” he said.

Parliament to conduct caste census
