Congress leader Rahul Gandhi
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit back at the BJP in a post on social media account X. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently attacked the Congress in a post on X, saying its promises were wrong. Now Rahul Gandhi has hit back.
Rahul Gandhi said that in July 2022, Prime Minister Modi misled the country by calling Congress’s public welfare scheme “free ki rewari”. Still, they campaigned across the country and in every state, standing their ground on congressional assurances and then making up trumped-up accusations that Congress didn’t live up to its promises.
What did Rahul Gandhi say?
Prime Minister Modi targeted the Congress in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana. To this, Rahul Gandhi now says, Modi, our challenge is, come to Karnataka, go around, investigate – we have fulfilled every promise. Congress’s plans in Karnataka have changed the fate of crores of women, youth, farmers and poor people. He also said that we have fulfilled our commitments in Telangana and Himachal Pradesh as well.

Rahul Gandhi further said that regarding the Maharashtra elections, India will now bring significant changes to Maharashtra and made five assurances:
- Mahalaxmi: Rs 3,000 per month and free bus service for women
- Samantechi Hami: 50% limit on caste census and reservation ends
- Kutumb Raksha: Health insurance and free medicines up to Rs 25 lakh
- Farm prosperity: Farm loan waiver of up to Rs 3 lakh, regular repayment incentive of Rs 50,000
- Yuvakanna Shabd: Rs 4,000 monthly help to unemployed youth
Attacking the BJP, Rahul Gandhi said these schemes will empower people to fight the inflation and unemployment caused by the BJP, their living standards will improve and their access to good education and nutrition will increase. I say this with great confidence because it is tried and tested. Citing the example of Karnataka, the Congress leader said that today 1.21 billion women in Karnataka are benefiting from the Mahalakshmi Scheme of the Congress.
In Karnataka, the Congress is more busy with intra-party politics and looting and does not even bother to achieve development. Not only that, they will cancel existing plans.
In Himachal Pradesh, salaries of government workers are not paid on time. In Telangana, farmers

“It has been completely exposed to people.”
On November 1, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a message on his social media account attacking the Congress Party. He kept making promises to the people during his campaign, but he knew he could never deliver.
Now he is fully exposed to the public. Furthermore, PM Modi also said that the Congress party in Karnataka does not care about development but is busy with intra-party politics and looting. Not only that, they will cancel existing plans.
