Ragging in college for keeping beard and moustache, senior beats up junior student, also threatens his parents

A shocking incident has come to light from Bengaluru, Karnataka. A student was ragged in Krupanidhi College. It is alleged that the seniors were harassing the junior student to grow a moustache and beard. When the junior student refused, the accused beat him up. The injured student was immediately admitted to the hospital.

According to the information, a student named Gautam was being harassed by his seniors in Krupanidhi College since April. It is alleged that the seniors were forcing him to grow a moustache and beard. On August 30, Gautam was taken to St. Stephens Marthona Church in Hadosiddapura by senior students Xavier Isaac, Vishnu and Sharat. Then there he was again forced to shave.

The accused threatened the victim’s family in the hospital

When Gautam refused to obey the seniors, the accused beat him up. This resulted in Gautam’s shoulder getting fractured. As soon as the information was received, people admitted Gautam to the hospital for treatment. While Gautam was undergoing treatment, the accused threatened his family in the hospital. Police say that an FIR has been registered on the complaint of the family and further investigation is going on.
