Qualcomm has launched a new processor. The company has launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will appear in all Android flagship phones. The company has launched the processor at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. This chipset will deliver top-notch performance.
Snapdragon 8 Elite will offer features like generative AI and multi-modal AI capabilities on the device. It has a Hexagon Neural Processing Unit (NPU), second-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU, and AI image signal processing. Thanks to these features, the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be a significant upgrade over the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version.
Which phones will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor?
Qualcomm says we’ll see this processor in all Android flagship phones. In the next few weeks, we will see a lot of Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phones. Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used in mobile phones from many brands such as ASUS, Honor, iQOO, OnePlus, Samsung, vivo, and Xiaomi.

What’s so special about this processor?
According to the company, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is its most powerful processor. The chip uses 64-bit architecture and 3nm manufacturing process. It has a second-generation custom Qualcomm Oryon CPU with 8 cores.
Qualcomm claims it will deliver a 45% improvement in single-core and multi-core performance. In addition, web browsing will also improve by 62%. The company says the processor will be available in devices equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
