Q2 results today: IDFC First Bank, JK Cement, REC Ltd, Titagarh Rail, YES Bank and more to report earnings

Q2 results to be announced today, October 26: More than 30 companies are expected to release their earnings for the July-September quarter today (Saturday, October 26), reports BSE. Besides, several engineering giants, private sector banks like ICICI Bank and YES Bank are also scheduled to announce their second quarter results today.

The fiscal 2025 second-quarter earnings season begins in October, with several major companies set to release second-quarter earnings reports this week and in the coming weeks. These reports are expected to have a significant impact on the market and provide valuable insights into India’s overall economic landscape.

Second Quarter Results Today – Saturday, October 26

ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, JK Cement, REC Ltd, Titagarh Rail, YES Bank, Creative, Golkunda, JP Power, KPPL, Paracables, SBFC, Indothai, Voltamp, Arihantsai and others are scheduled to release their second quarter results today.

Among them, ICICI Bank’s expected net profit is $A Livemint poll of seven brokerage forecasts put revenue at Rs 11,106 crore in the second quarter of FY25, up 8.2 per cent from Rs 10,261 crore in the same quarter of the previous FY23-24.

Meanwhile, the bank’s net interest income (NII) – the difference between interest earned and interest paid – is expected to grow 9.6% in the second quarter of fiscal 2025, rising to $20,071 Crores Rs. $Year-on-year (YoY) was Rs 18,308 crore, the report said.

Meanwhile, stock market experts predict that Yes Bank’s Q2 2024 results are expected to be flat. Experts also mentioned that Yes Bank’s growth may dip slightly due to modest deposit growth in Q2FY25.

On the contrary, IDFC First Bank’s Q2 2024 results are expected to be strong but net profit will fall due to higher provisions. Stock market experts told Mint that while the bank’s advances and deposits are expected to increase, net profit is likely to decline year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter due to higher provisions.

Following back-to-back earnings weeks, companies such as Adani Power and Ambuja Cement are scheduled to release their second-quarter financial results on October 28.
