India’s largest private sector lender HDFC Bank will announce its second quarter results for the current fiscal (Q2FY25 results) on October 19, the company informed the exchanges on September 16.
Its board of directors (BoD) is scheduled to meet on October 19, 2024, “to, among other matters, review and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter/half year ended September 30, 2024”, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Besides, the press release also stated, “We would also like to inform you that the securities dealing window of the Bank will remain closed to designated employees, directors, etc. from Tuesday, September 24, 2024 to Monday, October 21, 2024 (both days inclusive), in accordance with applicable SEBI regulations.”
HDFC Bank Q1 Results
The bank announced its April-June quarter results for the fiscal year 2024-25 (Q1FY25) on Saturday, July 20, reporting a 2% decline in net profit to ₹16,175 crore, compared to Rs. ₹16,511.9 crore as against Rs.16,511.9 crore in Q1FY24.
Net interest income (NII), the difference between interest income and interest expense, of India’s leading private lender rose 2.6% month-on-month. ₹29,837 crore, compared to Rs. ₹29,078 crore in Q4 FY24.
