Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal is on a two-day trip to Punjab. Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal held a rally with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday to elect his party’s candidate for the by-elections. The former Delhi chief minister held rallies in support of the party’s candidates at Chhabhuwal and Dera Baba Nanak assembly seats in Hoshiarpur and sought support from the public. Punjab will hold by-elections for a total of four assembly seats on November 20. These include Chabbewal and Dera Baba Nanak Saheb seats.
Arvind Kejriwal first held a rally in Chabbewal seat to support the party candidate Ishant Chabbewal. He said the Aam Aadmi Party chief assured you that if you let Ishant win with a historic majority, he would do all the work for Chabewal. He said there is an AAP government in the state. If you vote for Ishant, all the work here will be done easily.

People’s electricity bills used to be thousands, but now they are zero. He said the Aam Aadmi Party had improved schools and hospitals. Punjab has provided permanent jobs to more than 41,000 youths. There is still much work to be done. So let the candidate of Aam Aadmi Party win. He said that the BJP governments are spread in 21 states. Only two states in the country have AAP governments, and electricity here is free.

Arvind Kejriwal said that earlier people were offered bribes to get jobs. Now no one has to offer recommendations or bribes. How many toll booths have been cancelled? If our intentions are malicious, then why should we shut them down, he said. But our government is good and our intentions are correct. During this period, he announced the construction of a polytechnic, a playground and a canal in Chabevar. Kejriwal also announced that the Adampur to Kadishankar road will be named after Baba Banga Singh Bahadur.
