He told reporters through statistics on Indian languages that India is the only country that has included 11 languages in the classical language. The Union Home Minister said the Prime Minister also discussed the issue of widespread promotion of Hindi language in international forums.

Amit Shah said that 2014 to 2024 is the golden period for language promotion during Prime Minister Modi’s term. He told the committee meeting that when children start primary education in their mother tongue, they are able to fully develop their abilities.
